Here is my latest WIP, it took me quite a while to to put together all these individual 4 1/2 inch log cabin blocks. Now I will begin to plan the multiple borders which will further frame the quilt.

This is one of twenty blocks needed to make the "Sport" quilt designed by Jinny Beyer. I made this one as a trial run to see how my paper piecing skills would be for it. Can you see the 3 horses?

the nativity quilt, designed by tita leach, an australian quilter who quite often has patterns in the aussie mags such as country threads, and australian patchwork and quilting. it's not absolutely identical to the pattern- i could pretend it's just artistic license, but in favt i cut the two loger cream borders too short, didn't have any more fabric to cut them again, and improvised with the blue blocks in the corners! i havent finished the blanket stitching yet- still need to buttonhole the hearts ... but has been a real quickie and i hope to have it on the wall for this christmas...

This is a sampler quilt that I am now quilting for my father. The blocks are mostly called Card Tricks. I got bored making the same block so I added a bit of variety.

This is my second Golden Double Wedding Ring. There are 4500 pieces in it all together. I have 3 more full ring rows and 2 more part ring rows to do. I can only work on this at home as it is too hard to pack up all the pieces and requires too much consentration. It is hand pieced and will be hand quilted.

Here's the current project I'm working on. Using log cabin blocks to make rows of houses. I have tons of log cabin blocks still to make and more fat quarters solids to buy.

I want to assemble the log cabin blocks in a "barn raising" pattern. Ran out of material before I could finish. I spent $30 on fabric for 4 blocks and I have 20 more to go. My DH (dear husband) will shoot me if I buy all the fabric at once so it's one yard at a time from here on out!!! Might have it done by the time my kids move out! (They're 5 and 2!)

Hi to everyone! this is my "Star Quilt", I finished the top yesterday morning... I thought to put it on my sofa next winter... For now I only finished the top because now it's too hot...and working with batting is almost...impossible... So I think I will work on it again at the end of September or October, so I'll can have it ready for winter!!!

Aunt Joyce's Bird Quilt...I started a quilt for my Aunt Joyce a couple years ago making it a scrappy star quilt with bird and flower fabrics. I have quite a few blocks done, but here is a sample. I have quite a few more to make. I have more WIPS, many more, but as Bugs Bunny always says.."Thats all for now Folks".

Here is the back to Going Buggy...now it is too cool for the back and I'll add another border or two and make it a picnic blanket!

My mom gave me the book and bright colored fabric as a birthday present quite a few years ago. This year I nearly completed it. I was working on a fun back for it using scraps from this quilt, but then liked the back and decided it would become a picnic blanket....so it needs a back and to be quilted!

Here is a neat sweet butterfly quilt...there are tiny butterflies in the fabric. This project requires embroidery stitching on a border. Am hoping to get the border pieces together and sitting in a basket so I'll pick them up and embroider them this coming winter...don't expect progress on this one for a long time.

Here is a quilt from a mystery quilt class I took to celebrate my birthday last year. The Dragonfly Fabric has GLOW IN THE DARK dragonflies! I learned a valuable lesson about using one stretchier and looser woven fabric when doing a mystery quilt. My seams didn't match up. I still love the quilt and all it needs is a back and to be quilted.

Here is a quilt I started in a Quilt in a Day class in February. I call it Dragonfly Crossing, because in the middle of the purple sashing there are dragonflies in the green squares. Each block is simple, but 41 pieces. I have 12 blocks left to finish before I can begin sewing them together. I plan to border it out and make it Queen size.

This is my second work in progress, it was a mystery quilt put up by www.quiltbus.com. I have had so much fun with this one, it was my first mystery, I think it turned out adorable. It's for my neighbor's baby's 1st birthday in three months. It's called Spring Fling and it's just too cute.
