Terry Bowden, V-Happy Quilters FQ chapter leader, has come up with a new project idea. He sent in a pillowcase pattern that is fun and easy to sew. The new IFQ Sweet Dreams Pillowcase Event will feature his pattern. Thanks, Terry!
You must be an IFQ member and logged in to be eligible for this event. After you sign up, you will receive, in an email, a password to download the pattern. Whip up your pillowcase and post a picture in the Sweet Dreams Gallery. You may post pictures of as many pillowcases as you like, as long as they are created with the IFQ Sweet Dreams pattern. Terry Bowden and Beth Totillo will host a Chat Room class where you can ask questions and share ideas. After all of the pillowcase pictures have been posted, we will have a period of viewing and voting. The categories for voting will all be fun and silly, such as "The most fun pillowcase to take to Grandma's house", etc. All of this Sweet Dreams fun will culminate in a Pajama Party, held in the Chat Room, where the category winners will be announced!
Sign Ups open April 2. You must be an IFQ member and logged in to register. After signing up, you will receive an email with a password that will allow you to download your Pillowcase pattern. Once you sign up, a link to the download will be visible to you on the lower left of this page, but you will need the password from the email to access the file.
You are committing to making at least one pillowcase from the pattern provided, and to posting a picture of it once completed. You may make as many pillowcases as you like as long as each additional pillowcase is also posted in the Sweet Dreams picture gallery.
Sweet Dreams Chat Room Classes April 14 and April 16. Terry and Beth will be in the chat room to answer questions and offer Sweet Dreams encouragement. The chat meetings will be held at:
