CHAT ROOM STATUS
There are no members in the IFQ chat room now.
which IFQ members exchange signed Friendship Star blocks. Each time you sign up, you can collect a new block from a different spot in the world. When you are partnered with a new IFQ friend, you create a personal 12 inch (12 1/2 inch unfinished) friendship star block to send to them and receive one from them in return. You embellish this block with your name, country and anything else that might convey a bit of who you are to your new IFQ friend. When you have finished your exchange, you can sign up again so you can collect a set of blocks and make an IFQ "STARS AROUND THE WORLD" block! You must have completed the first exchange before you can sign up again.
When you sign up, you can come back to this page and download the pattern for the block. Once you have signed up, it will be visible to you.
A short while later, you will receive an email with the name and email & postal address of your partner. Please make contact with each other to discover your colour preferences, etc (it's a great excuse to spend some time in the IFQ Chat room!).
Then get to work on your block. When you receive your block from your partner, be sure to post this in the IFQ STARS AROUND THE WORLD forum since you won't be able to sign up again until this transaction is completed. And don't forget to post a picture in the IFQ STARS AROUND THE WORLD picture gallery! You'll end up with an international quilt in no time!

Sign up by clicking on the link below (you must be an IFQ member and logged into the website to sign up).
Download the pattern from this page. Before proceeding, wait to get your email from the event hosts that will give you your partner information.
Contact your partner and discuss block preferences.
Make your block and send it to your partner.
**Confirm the receipt of your block in the IFQ STARS AROUND THE WORLD forum.** If you do not do this, your partner will not be able to sign up again!
Post a picture of your beautiful block in the IFQ STARS AROUND THE WORLD picture gallery.
Sign up again to collect another block from another part of the globe!!
