Begin by pulling out all of your UFOs and taking a good look at them. If something is no longer of interest to you, and you just know that it will sit for ANOTHER 7 years, offer it to someone else to finish. They will be delighted, and you will have unburdened yourself of one UFO. After this, I think you deserve a little liquid refreshment to reward yourself (at least, that's MY plan).
Select 7 (yes, only 7) projects to work on this year. Any more than 7 projects, and you could become discouraged.
Take a picture of all 7 projects in one shot and post it to the Seven for '07 Picture Gallery.
Write down your goals. Think about which project you will work on first, if you need any supplies to finish a project, whether you have plenty of ice and lemons, etc.
Make a commitment to work on the first project from your list for 4 hours per week. No more, no less. You'll be amazed at the amount of unfinished business you will clear up and you'll still have time to work on new projects, enjoy your IFQ friends, and buy new fabric! Keep working on the first project 4 hours per week until it is completed.
Take a picture of this finished project and post it in the Seven for '07 Picture Gallery. Also post a message in the Forum so your IFQ friends can give you some well deserved kudos!
Now, do the same thing with the second project on your list. You may add one more project to the list now, but never have more than 7 items on the list at any time.
