What will the IFQ Easter Bunny bring you this year?

IFQ had so much fun this year with the Secret Santa event that members were clamoring for more! Alexis Kelly, a member of the V - Quilting Sisters Friendship Quilters, came up with a great idea. Let's do it again - for Easter! What a wonderful Spring surprise (or Autumn, if you are in the Southern Hemisphere). Conda Walsh, the Chapter Leader of the V - Quilting Sisters Friendship Quilters (they ARE an energetic bunch), has graciously stepped forward and agreed to host. You can contact Conda at secretEBunny @ friendshipquilters.com with any questions.

Here's how it works. If you sign up below, you are agreeing to create or find a SMALL gift for the member whose name you receive at the end of the sign up period. This is a small gift, of no great value not more than approxiamately $10.00 US. You can make them something if you want. Remember, it's the thought that counts!

Please be committed when you sign up because we do not want members to be disappointed. It simply is not fair. As always, if you have a terrible problem and cannot complete the project, you must contact us. If we know ahead of time, we will certainly understand and we can avoid disappointments. If you do not contact us and simply flake out, you run the risk of not being allowed to participate in other IFQ events.

Part of the event includes posting in the forum when you mail out your gift and when you receive your gift. This allows us to track the event and is certainly curteous to your new IFQ friend who took the trouble to create your gift.

TIMELINE:

January 20th - Sign ups open

February 13th - Sign ups Close, names are released a few days later

March 13th - Absolute Deadline for posting your gift AND posting confirmation in the Secret Easter Bunny Forum that you have done this.

April 9th - Secret Easter Bunny picture gallery opens!

Now, put on your bunny thinking caps and start thinking of that perfect little Easter gift for your IFQ friend. Remember to include a little note about yourself and your quilting. This is the way to make new quilting friends around the world!
