Are you ready to party?Sally

Hi ya dolls! I'm sure you all have heard about the upcoming IFQ Birthday party! Yes, another year has gone by and it times to party once more!

Party SignOne of IFQ's traditions is to hold a 24 hour party each September (since September IS the IFQ birthday month). Since we're global, well, there are ALWAYS members ready to party! So you've just got to make sure to stop by! And it's a great way to make new quilting friends from all around the world.

Can you believe that IFQ is celebrating it's FOURTH year? Wow, it seems like only yesterday when IFQ started. And hasn't it come a long way! We can't imagine a life WITHOUT IFQ and all the friends that we've made!

IFQ is asking members to volunteer to host a few hours. You can sign up to do this on the IFQ Birthday Party page. You can sign up with other IFQ friends and host the hour together! There's no limit to the number of hosts per hour but please do help us cover all the hours. We don't want to cancel the party due to lack of participation!

You can also choose a theme for your hour(s). For instance, one hour could be devoted to Applique methoCat balloond discussions or another could be a quiz hour! And remember, you don't need to set a theme because ya know, IFQ members know how to party!

So, dolls, you find lots of laughter in this party (especially from the members who are trying to be there for EVERY hour!) but there's something else too! Each hour will feature a different block pattern to download! You'll only be able to download this pattern during that hour and you have to go to the party to find out the password. You see, each host will be given their hour's password and will reveal it during the party. So now you understand that why some members try to make it to ALL 24 hours Madame BlindHemof the party!

You do have to be present at the party to get the password. And we ask that people NOT share these patterns. They are party favours for the party goers! And if you only show up for 2 minutes at the head of each hour, then you're missing the point! A lot of work is being put into make this a great party and a great way to get to know each other better.

Madame BlindHem and I are working on our special Martini recipes because what's a party without some 'tinis? We think we've almost got the banana beet recipe down! That's a drink you won't forget!!

We working on our outfits too. I've found my tiara at the back of the closet and I'm sending my leopard jumpsuit to the cleaners. After all, I want to look my best for my IFQ friends!!

We can't wait to see ya all at the party!! If ya have any questions, just email party4@friendshipquilters.com.
