One of IFQ's most popular events is the Crazy Quilt Round Robin. And now it's time for more

"crazy" fun! The theme for this incarnation is FANS. Think what you can do with that!

Val Dickinson and Janet Lucas will again host this event. If you have any questions about crazy quilting in general or about this event, you can email them or you can post in the CQRR forum. You won't want to miss this fun!

Each participant creates a Crazy Quilt block of any dimension as long as it contains a minimum of 9 patches. A photo of this block MUST be posted in the CQRR picture gallery before the picture posting deadline: Friday August 31, 2007. Only if you have posted your block by this deadline (which is an absolute deadline) will you be assigned a team.

pointedFan After the picture posting deadline, the hosts will assign teams. You will work on one patch and a seam of each of your teammate's blocks. You will always post the blocks forward to the same person. Once the assignments are made, you will be able to see a link at the top of this page that will take you to your team information and the postal information of the person that you send to.

There are 6 rounds in this event. Please be sure to mail the block that you have worked on BY THAT ROUND'S DEADLINE (these are listed below). purpleFan

When you mail out your block, don't forget to to include a small journal with it. In this journal, you can state your preferences. For instance, you may not wish any sequins or machine embroidery on your block. Or you may have colour preferences. Be sure to make note of this in your journal.

peachFan Each time you work on a block, please write a little note in that member's journal. You can describe a bit about yourself, your locale or what you did on their block. The journals are just as precious as the block when they return home!

Be sure to keep checking in at the IFQ CQRR Forum. It's a great place to share ideas with other participants, learn more about crazy quilting and find out the latest event news. Each time you mail a block or receive a block, please post this information in the forum. This is the way the hosts keep track of the progress of the event.

By this date, you must post a picture in the IFQ CQRR - Fans picture gallery. If you do not do this, you will not be assigned a team.

If you have a problem with picture posting, be sure to contact your hosts of this event so they can help you. Just don't leave it until the last minute! This deadline is absolute.

This is the absolute last date to get your original block in the mail. Please don't disappoint your fellow members!
