natural item for embellishments! And who loves to embellish? Who loves sparkle? Why, all of us, of course!
This IFQ event allows you to use your imagination to create any ornament you want for your IFQ friend. You could look in last year's picture gallery of this event for inspiration - and then go from there!
These ornaments must have some stitching but the rest of the design is up to you! When
you mail out your ornament, be sure to enclose a little note about yourself and your special holiday customs. It will be a great way to learn how other people celebrate the holidays across the world - and make a new IFQ friend too!
There is a special IFQ forum set up for this event. Be sure to check this frequently for the latest event news.
Each time you sign up, you are committing to making one ornament. You are required to post a picture of each ornament you make by the picture posting deadline. If you do not post a picture, you will not be assigned a partner. This deadline is absolute, so be sure you don't miss it!
If you have trouble with picture posting, you can contact the hosts of this event and they will be happy to help you.
There is a help page on picture posting too that you can read. The most frequent problem is that the file is too big. Be sure not to leave this until the last minute since the hosts are busy people and we want to make sure that they'll have the time to help you!
After you sign up, you will be send an email from ornament@friendshipquilters.com. Please be sure that your email program and spam filter is set to receive emails from this address!

If you have created more than one item, each item must be shown, even if they are identical. If you have a problem with picture posting, be sure to contact your hosts of this event so they can help you. Just don't leave it until the last minute! This deadline is absolute. |
