This event uses a delightful pattern for a sweet sunbonnet, supplied to IFQ by Mary Lou Poteat. This is a great way to beat the heat and avoid the sun in hot summer days. It is also a nice fashion accessory no matter what the weather is! And once you make one and your grandchildren or friends see it - we're sure they'll be asking you to make one for them!

Mary Lou Poteat and Bobbie Bartlett are the co-hosts of this event.

Please post a picture of your completed project before the Wednesday September 26, 2007 picture posting deadline. If you have trouble posting your picture, the hosts of this event will be glad to help you.

And, post pictures of your progress as you work with the pattern. It's so much fun to see what fabrics your friends are going to use! When you look at other participants choices, you just might come up with a brand new idea for yourself! And sharing your progress is part of the fun of sharing in this event.
