IFQ is proud to present a new installment of our Kitchen Kaper Series with the IFQ Tea Towel Exchange. Embellish and exchange tea towels with your IFQ friends - you'll smile every time you go in the kitchen!

Sign Ups open May 11. You must be a registered, signed-in IFQ member to sign up for this event. After signing up, you will receive an email confirmation message. Each time you sign up for this event, you are agreeing to embellish a tea towel to exchange with an IFQ friend.
The towels may be ready-made with embellishment added by you, or you may make the entire towel. Towels must be fully functional (washable, etc.) and embellished in some way. The embellishment could be embroidery, appliqué, couching, etc. Use any embellishment method that will enhance the towel, yet allow it to remain fully functional as a kitchen towel.
Be sure your email and spam filters are set to allow mail from kapers@friendshipquilters.com or you will not receive any correspondence or information from this event.
Sign Ups close May 30. This will be the very last day to join the IFQ Tea Towel Exchange.
Picture Posting deadline June 9. You must post a picture of your completed Tea Towels in the gallery by this date. Only those participants who have posted pictures of ALL completed tea towels by this date will be eligible for partner assignment. That means you must post a picture for EACH time you sign up because each sign up is a commitment to make one towel.
If you have any problems posting pictures you may call on Betty for help kapers@friendshipquilters.com. If you need help, please do not wait until the very last minute. Partner assignments will be made a few days after this deadline, and you will be informed of this by email.
Mailing Deadline June 19. Your tea towels must be in the mail to your partner no later than today. This is a FIRM deadline, and you are agreeing to honor it when you sign up.
As soon as you get your tea towels into the mail, post a message in the Kitchen Kapers Forum stating that step is complete. Then, keep an eye out for YOUR tea towels to arrive in the mail!
You may sign up more than once, if you like: EACH time you sign up you are agreeing to embellish and exchange one tea towel with a partner.
