We're always looking for new ideas at IFQ! And the membership at IFQ are great at coming up
with ideas!
If you have an idea for an IFQ event, please share it with us! If you do not want to host the event, but still think it's a good idea, don't worry! We have lots of members who are willing to host events.
Ideas come in various forms. Sometimes, you just have the start of an idea and want to throw it out there and see if it might work. That's fine with us - we're happy to brainstorm with you on it! Or you may have worked up a pattern and it's ready to go! Either way, we're interested in talking with you about your idea. We think that new ideas will only make IFQ a better place!

But if your idea is further along, then do give us more information. We'll be happy to help you get get to the point of a full fledged event idea.
Once you know what the event should be, we will need some more from you before it can become an event.Here's what we need in a proposal:
Is it an exchange event? A one-on-one event or a team event? Or is it a pattern download? Or is it a challenge?
Send us a write up as you think the event page should read.
If if is a pattern, you must give us complete instructions and you must have sewn a test item. Please take pictures of the process (to include in the pattern) and send us a picture of the final product. We will not write the pattern ourselves, it must come from you. The pattern must be an original pattern - copyright laws forbid us from running other people's patterns.
If is not a requirement that you co-host the event.
