Sally Bowen, of V-CyberSewers FQ, came across a darling little doll pattern and was so impressed with it that she contacted the author to see if IFQ could use it in an exchange. Kate Erbach, the generous designer, agreed! We are pleased to present our latest doll exchange, featuring the Dilly Dolly pattern by Kate Erbach of My Sister Kate Cloth Confections!
In this exchange you will make a doll using the Dilly Dolly pattern and post a picture of your finished creation. Then partners will be assigned and you will mail your dolly to an IFQ friend. You will receive a doll from another IFQ friend, and everyone will have a dilly of a time! Each time you sign up, you will be committing to making one unique dolly. You may sign up more than once, if you like.
It doesn't matter if you are an experience doll maker or someone new to the craft. The important thing is the care you put into the project. The "sewing golden rule" applies! That is, send your partner the kind of item YOU would be pleased to own. If you need help, it is as close as the Dilly Dolly Forum.

Sign Ups Open: Friday, August 18. You must be a registered IFQ member and logged in to sign up. If you would like to make and receive more than one Dilly Dolly you must sign up more than once (one sign up per doll). For this event, each doll must be unique.
When you sign up for the DIlly Dolly Exchange, you will be sent a message with a password. You must set your email filters to accept email from dilly@friendshipquilters.com! Use the password provided in the email message to access the Dilly Dolly pattern by clicking on the Download Dog underneath the pink menu at the left side of the IFQ home page.

Picture Posting Deadline: Friday, September 29. This is a firm deadline; if you miss this deadline you cannot get an exchange partner. Due to the way the assignment system works, there can be no exceptions to this deadline.
Mailing Deadline: Tuesday, October 10. This is the very last day to get your Dilly Dolly into the mail. Then keep an eye on the Dilly Dolly Forum to see when your partner receives her dolly!
