Does your sewing room tend to disappear beneath all the clutter? Who wouldn't want a handy item to help organize those loose ends? Judi Kirk has contributed this fun pattern for a machine tidy. Participants will create these lovely items and exchange with an assigned partner. In September, members will have an opportunity to create another sewing room item to match the Clutter Caddy they received in this event. But we get ahead of ourselves.....
Judi Kirk and Charly Saminto will host this event. When you sign up, you will receive an email with a password to download the pattern for the IFQ Machine Clutter Caddy. (Be sure that your email filters are set to receive an email from caddy@friendshipquilters.com.) And then the fun begins! This easy pattern is quite addictive and is a perfect gift for a friend. Participants will post pictures of their completed Clutter Caddies and be assigned a partner for each caddy they have created.
In signing up for this event you are agreeing to post a picture of your project before or by the picture posting deadline. Only participants who have posted pictures will be assigned partners. You are also agreeing to mail your caddy by the mailing deadline.
This project is perfect for embellishment so let your imagination go wild! It's not how perfect your stitching is but how much care you put into your project that counts!
And then look for the September Thread Catcher project to make your sewing room complete!
You must be an IFQ member and LOGGED in to sign up. After signing up, please look for an email from clutter@friendshipquilters.com. If you do not receive this email in a few days, please let us know.
