Sign Ups open February 14. You must be a registered, logged in IFQ member to participate in this event. By signing up you are agreeing to create an oriental themed wallhanging which you will then exchange with another participant. The wallhanging you create must follow these guidelines:
- Use oriental inspired design, oriental style modern prints, or even vintage silk pieces to create a wallhanging using piecing or appliqué.
- The longest side must not measure more than 18 inches.
- The wallhanging must include a hanging sleeve, loops, or some other creative means to allow mounting on a wall.
- The wallhanging must be a quilt including 3 layers, one of which must be batting/wadding.
- It is critical that your project be the finest quality you are capable of achieving. Make something for your partner that you, yourself, would be proud to display in your home.

Picture Posting Deadline is March 19. A picture of your finished Artistic Oriental Wallhanging must be posted in the
Artistic Wallhanging gallery no later than this date. Only those who have
met this deadline will be eligible for partner assignment. Random partners will be assigned a few days after this date. A link to the partner assignments will be visible at the top of this page when that time comes.

Mailing Deadline is March 27. Your Artistic Oriental Wallhanging must be in the mail to your partner no later than the end of this day. Overseas parcels must be sent via airmail. Now, keep an eye on your mail box; your new wallhanging will be arriving soon!
