I have just finished these 6 angels who wait to take wing to the heavens. I hope they please you. |

This is a paper pieced block that I have been playing with. It's not very fancy but I like it.

That paper pieced angel was giving me a headache! I went with a simpler technique of sewing two pieces of fabric together "birthing it" and then appliqueing it down. I left her wings unattached except to her dress so they can flap! Much easier, hope to get them finished this week. |

i called this angel 'the thoroughly modern christmas angel'. she was inspired by a piece of christmas fabric i got from one of our local shops, and just loved the colours... |

this is my second block, a more primitive style, and i have called her 'the night sky angel'. i just loved the depth in the starry dark blue fabric. the check background IS more subtlr than it looks in this photo... but i must say i'm having doubts about it now! too late, she cried, too late, having hand stitched all 6... |

Here's my angel. The background will be the same on all, but the wing and dress colors will change.
Hope you like it! |

This is my angel for the 'Gabriel' girls and with a few changes for the 'Uriel' girls. She is machine appliqued. I hope eveyone will enjoy! Each one has developed its own personality. |
