SET UP: In this swap, participants will placed in teams of 6. Each person will make 6 - 9 1/2 " blocks (9" finished) - 5 will be sent to the other members on your team and one you will keep for yourself. So, if you sign up one time, you will ed up with 6 angel blocks (one made by you). Just in time to make something special fo
r the holidays! And if you want to end with more than one block, you may sign up multiple times and be put on different teams. Just remember, for each time you sign up, you must make 6 blocks!
BLOCKS: You can choose any block at all to make, so long as it is some form of angel. If you're not sure what to make, ask in the Angel Swap forum. People there will steer you to some possible blocks ideas. Several members of the V - Bobbin Belles FQ have blocks in mind that they are willing to share.
SCHEDULE:
AUGUST 24th : Sign ups begin. During the sign up times, Trish, from the V - Bobbin Belles, will start composing the teams.
SEPTEMBER 14th: Sign ups end. Within a few day of this date, you will find a link on this page that will take you to a page with a list of your team members and their information. Keep this information.
NOVEMBER 2: Blocks must be COMPLETED and put in the mail by this date AT THE VERY LATEST! Please take a picture of your blocks before you send them and then take a picture of the blocks that you receive, all 6 together (including your original!) so you can post them on the ANGEL picture page!
At that point, it's time to make your angel project with these wonderful blocks! We're going to want to see pictures of what you make too!
