Great job, ladies! Thanks for your efforts.

Quilting Beyond the Borders is just too much fun not to share! Invite your quilting and sewing friends to join you at International Friendship Quilters.

This month has been declared IFQ Friendship February! Our membership drive will help you share the fun with your friends AND, you can win PRIZES!

Operating under the sound principle that more is better, we would like to increase our membership ranks. We want to share the fun of IFQ, so let's get together and take IFQ "Beyond the Borders".

Beginning February 6 there is a contest to see who can bring in the most new IFQ members. The current members that bring in the most new members will be rewarded with fabulous sewing prizes. There will be three prize levels awarded.

  1. To participate you must be a current, active IFQ member.

  2. Your friend must fill out the Membership Form completely, and must mention your name in the "How did you hear about us?" box. That's how we keep track of the prize winners! This membership drive runs from February 6 through February 28. ONLY new members registering during that time span will count for points in this competition.

  3. Once we finalize the membership process and your friend becomes an active member you will earn one Friendship February point.

  4. The IFQ member with the most Friendship February points on February 28, 2006 will be awarded the First Prize of the fabulous, new Quilter's FabriCalc calculator!

The member with the second most number of points will be awarded the Second Prize of the book "Notions: Over 50 Great Gadgets You Can't Live Without" with contributions from 23 sewing experts!

The Third Prize is a grouping of four coordinating Fat Quarters of quilt fabric.

Winners will be announced March 7, 2006

  • Talk to your sewing friends in classes and at guild meetings. Tell them about our:

  • E-mail long distance friends and include a link to the web site. We have many "virtual" members who conduct all of their IFQ fun via the internet and email.

  • The IFQ Info page has all kinds of good information that can help you answer your friends' questions.

  • If you would like to have some brochures to give to a quilt group or your friends, please ask. We can mail them out to you.

Good luck, and have fun!
