It's Round 4 of the ATC Collectibles Fiber Arts game! The object of this game is to fill up your ATC Collectibles Wallhanger (pattern can be downloaded below AFTER YOU HAVE SIGNED UP) with a card for each letter and number. So, you have to do some trading once you receive your cards and know what you need - but that's the hard part! How do you part with one of these treasures! But don't you want to be the first to fill your wallhanging??

Now, we're ready to play! You may sign up below. Each time you sign up, you are committing to make one set of FIVE ATCs. ATCs (Artistic Trading Cards) measure 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches. One side has the design and the back side has the identification. (Get more tips for making ATC's here.) These are made in sets of 5. Each set is made with a theme. It's lots of fun to collect sets by trading in the IFQ ATC Trading Post, in the forum area!

ATCAfter you have signed up, you will receive a confirmation email. Please make sure your email filters are set to receive email from atc07@friendshipquilters.com. Then, within a few days, you will receive an email with the letter or number that is to be the theme of your set. Now, you can let your imagination run wild! For instance, if you receive the letter "C" - your theme could be: Crazy Cars or Curls or Chocolate Cookies or Chiaroscuro or Cha-cha! You can see how much choice you have! Or if you receive a number, let's say 8, you could do a set on Crazy Eights or 8 pointed stars.

You are required to post a picture of your set before the picture posting deadline in order to be assigned your partners. You must post a picture of ALL of your COMPLETED cards. Failure to do this will result in the host removing your name from the participant's list. This deadline is absolute.

These are sets of 5 - not 6! You do NOT keep one of your ATCs - you are sending out all 5. Remember, it's better to sign up fewer times and spend more time on your ATCs!

Then, after you send and receive your ATCs, place them in yourwallhanging (which has a pocket for every letter and number) and determine what you are missing. Now get onto the ATC TRADING POST in the forum and start trading! Each round of this game will put more letters out there to bring you closer to filling your wallhanging! Train

PROJECT GUIDELINES:

  1. Each entry in this exchange means you will create a set of 5 related ATCs using a theme inspired by the letter or number you are assigned. You may sign up more than once if you wish to make and exchange more than one set of 5 ATCs. Each set must be different from the others.

  2. Each ATC must be 2.5" x 3.5" (64 mm x 89 mm) finished size. Try to keep ATCs no thicker than 1/8" (3 mm).

  3. You must use some fabric, thread, or other sewing related material.

  4. Place the following information on the back of each of your ATCs:

    • IFQ ATC COLLECTIBLES - ROUND 4

    • CatThe title you have given your ATC set for instance "Sweater for Snookie", and the letter or number that you were assigned. Please put this in the lower left corner of the back and make it easy to read, since this will be important later.

    • Include your name and IFQ Chapter on the back of each ATC.

    • Number your ATCs as to the series. For instance 4/5 means fourth in a series of five cards.

    • Your country, so the recipient knows where your ATC originated.

  5. A photo of ALL of your completed ATCs MUST be posted on the IFQ web site before you can receive any mailing information for the second phase of this exchange. Group each set of 5 related ATCs together in one photo. The deadline for posting your picture is listed below. There are no exceptions to this deadline. If you think you will have problems picture posting, the host of this event will be happy to help. But please don't wait until the ATC2last minute.

  6. After the picture posting deadline, you will be informed when a link will be posted that will take you to your partners' mailing information.

  7. Once you have received the mailing information, you should mail your ATCs as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment. The LAST day to mail is listed below.
