Because we believe that the language of quilting is truly international, we've taken on the task of proving this! We're bringing quilters from all around the world together to share their passion for the craft as well as forge new
friendships. And it's just not quilting! There's so much to share!
It's easy to join and it doesn't cost anything! Just fill in the IFQ registration form and within a few days, you'll be sent a welcome pack that will start your on your IFQ journey!
Once you have your IFQ password, you'll be ready to start "quilting beyond the borders"! We've got lots of fun events, interesting patterns, fiber arts games, round robins, forums, chats, mystery quilts, fiber arts postcards, challenges....well, we could go on forever!

Now that you're a member, what to do first?
There's so much to do at IFQ, it's hard to know what to do first! But here are some tips on getting starting.
Read the IFQ TownCrier. This is the place for IFQ news at a glance. You'll find the latest news, the upcoming events, member news and lots more in the IFQ TownCrier.
Visit the IFQ Welcome Page. Here you'll find lots of tips for navigating and enjoying the website.
Visit the ol' Diamond Lounge - IFQ's chat room. This is a great area to meet other IFQ members. If you've never chatted before, don't worry. IFQ members are a friendly lot and will be happy to show you how it's done. Before you know it, you'll be chatting internationally with all your new IFQ friends. Your IFQ forum log in will let you enter here.
Post in the IFQ Forum. You can learn lots of things and make new IFQ friends in the IFQ forum. You'll use your IFQ Forum login to enter this area. It's also a great place to ask questions.
Join in some IFQ events. That's why you're here, right? There are so many events that there will be plenty that will tickle your fancy!
